Bashar Barakah (July 19, 1999 - Feb. 19 2019, 2020), professionally popularly known as Pop Smoke was an American musician. The label he was signed to was Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke gained acclaim for his Brooklyn drill style after working in collaboration with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party the top single from the debut mixtape Meet the Woo was released during July of 2019. The track Welcome to the Party was made into two remixes featuring American singer Nicki Minaj and British Skepta. Skepta in August of this year. Pop Smoke dropped his smash single Welcome to the Party in April of this year. It was the title track on his debut mixtape Meet the Woo. This was later remixed with Nicki Minaj in the first version, as well as Skepta for the remix and released on the month of August in 2019. Later on, UK drill was used in a number of his tracks.
