Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February, 1964. She is an American actor best known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also at risk. Linney is a member of a family of actors her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. located in New York City in 1990. In 1990, she performed on Broadway her first performance in 1990.
