Morgan Smith

He graduated from Columbia College at Columbia University and Mannes College of Music in New York City, Morgan made his debut as an Seattle Opera young artist (1999-2000) and, in 2001, made his professional debut as Donald as Billy Budd. Smith is a Seattle favourite, has appeared in over 12 productions including Don Giovanni in the title character, Silvio and I Pagliacci in I Pagliacci as well Riccardo from I Puritani. Other concert repertoire includes Beethoven's Ninth Symphony; the Requiems composed by Brahms, Faure, Mozart Durufle, and Faure; the Mass that is in C Minor in C Minor of Mozart and Mass in G Minor of Vaughan Williams; Bach's B Minor Mass, numerous Cantatas as well as Weihnachts Oratorium; Handel's Messiah and L'Allegro in the form of Penseroso and il Moderato and Haydn's The Creation and Lord Nelson Mass.
