AlexandraAlexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. Also, she played an appearance in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the first season of FX's American Horror Story, she was the lead character Moira O'Hara's younger character. Then she played Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. Since the year 2019, she has appeared in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. They traveled for a period of one year before they moved to Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in acting, singing, and photography when she was 13. When she was 15 she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
